Who would have believed it? Engineering and product development for 32 years, and NOW I'm finally smoking!
As you know, I purchased a SYBBQ Barbecue Smoker/Trailer on the 1st of October and started smoking and selling BBQ on the 5th, and I changed to a better location on the 10th of December. The month of January has just closed, and to show you how well it has gone, we served 570 meals in November; 1,582 in December and 2,232 in January! And this is the slow season, with locals telling me that when the Speedway opens and the summer tourists arrive that their business triples. Business has gone so well, that I have taken the plunge and have purchased and am now operating a 45 seat restaurant, with the trailer prominently out in front.
The barbecue equipment has worked just as you said it would, I have followed your recipes faithfully, and the customers are absolutely in love with the food. I am now anxiously awaiting delivery of my second 6' bbq smoker, which will also be put out in front of the restaurant, right alongside a very busy state road, with traffic counts of 20,000 per day.
The word about Big Mike's Road House BBQ is spreading quickly, I am advertising in newspapers, and on radio (I recorded my own spot), and customers are coming from 50 and 60 miles away to get some of that great flavor.
