Choosing the Southern Yankee Barbeque Pit/Smoker was an excellent choice for me. I love the way that it cooks. The meats (briskets, chickens, ribs, etc.) are smoked evenly, and the taste is even better. It has no 'cold' spots whatsoever. There is no problem of holding its heat.
My business comes strictly from word of the mouth, for I do not advertise.
I have participated in two BBQ Cookoffs since I have had the pit. I received a 10th place in chicken in the first contest, and a 1st place in ribs and also a 1st place in brisket in the second contest.
I am very happy that I chose the Southern Yankee Pit. It always gets the second glance while traveling. It's something to behold.
